Pilot study: Gabapentin

Researchers from the Dyskinesia Research Group of the CRE-CP are coordinating a pilot study on gabapentin, a medication used to manage pain in children with dystonic cerebral palsy.┬áThe study will recruit 20 children with CP aged 6-18 years with severe generalised dystonia who have pain affecting daily activities based on child and parental report. The study is recruiting participants at Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Adelaide.
